You like Horror RPGs?
almost 5 years ago – Thu, Feb 06, 2020 at 03:02:29 PM

Hi all-

Hopefully we've resolved all shipping/customs issues that have come up, but please feel free to reach out if you're having trouble with anything.

While you're here, there's another project currently on Kickstarter that might be of interest to many of you. It's a brochure-sized TTRPG called "The Company", and it's made by our friend Logan (who helped test/break Ironrise). If you think your games library would benefit from a Corporate Survival Horror RPG, this is definitely worth your time to check out. You can pick up a digital copy for $10, or a beautiful hard copy (made to look perfectly like an employee handbook) for $20 (limit on these).

The game is very professionally made, and as someone who got to play through an earlier build, I can confirm it does what it sets out to do fantastically. Also, it scared me half to death.

Check it out HERE!

Any damaged copies, other issues?
about 5 years ago – Sat, Dec 07, 2019 at 05:26:50 PM

Hi all-

It seems we've sorted out most fulfillment. A few issues with customs needing to be paid in some instances (and not in others), and a few damaged copies received. I've reached out to those who I know had issues, but please get in touch and let me know if you had any problems with fulfillment (damaged copy, didn't arrive, whatever else), so we can try to remedy any issues.

Thanks,

Orders are fulfilling + Tutorial Videos
over 5 years ago – Thu, Sep 05, 2019 at 09:58:34 PM

Hey Everyone-

We're so excited to see these copies of Ironrise getting into your hands! For any in the US who haven't received their copy yet, these didn't all go out at exactly the same time, so give it until maybe late next week. If you don't have it then, make sure your BackerKit address/order is done right, and feel free to reach out to us.

International shipments should begin early next week.

Now seems like a good time to point out that we have some tutorial videos in place that might benefit anyone wanting to crack into Ironrise. It's a mechanically substantial game, and I personally find videos to be very useful.

Below you'll find a short turn summary video, a tutorial, and a live playthrough:

Games are shipping!
over 5 years ago – Fri, Aug 30, 2019 at 08:33:12 PM

Not really much more to say than that. We got notification from the warehouse that games started being sent out today. Some of you with UPS accounts may have already received notification about when your game will get to you. I'd expect everyone in the US will be fulfilled by next week's end, and international backers, well I really have no idea, but they're on the way.

Thank you all so much for your support, your patience, and your help!

Shipment at the Warehouse - Addresses Locked - Shipping begins!
over 5 years ago – Tue, Aug 27, 2019 at 06:59:17 PM

Hi all-

It's probably a good time for an update. We locked our BackerKit last week (which is used to track where we need to send these games, as well as finalize any orders that game in after Kickstarter, as well as add-ons). Turns out, a bunch of cards were declined (pre-orders). This is probably due to the fact that the orders came in using cards that have since expired (as you know, this whole thing has taken a long time). That's definitely something I've been on the other side of with backing Kickstarter projects.

Anyway, we gave that a few days, and it looks like everyone who needed to get sorted out was able to do so. We then re-locked with BackerKit, and today Danny was able to link our account with ShipBob (who has the games warehoused, and will handle shipping). Logistical plan should be finished tomorrow, and then they'll send these out. So, unless there's some other hiccup, probably those in the midwest US might see their games arriving later this week (and of course everyone else after that).

One nice little bonus we've found with ShipBob is that since they are now linked with our BackerKit, they can actually send out games for people who haven't yet finalized their address forms for a while still. These two companies work together a lot, and it's not something I knew was a possibility. The result is that anyone who missed the "hard" deadline for finishing their address survey can still complete it for a while, and ShipBob will still be able to fulfill. It sounds like their systems talk to each other every couple of hours.

That last part isn't relevant to the vast majority of you, but what is relevant is: these are about to ship!

As always, thanks for your continued patience.
